Join us on Friday, August 23, 2019, for Music by the Lake, a free concert that is open to public. Beginning at 4pm, at the Seven Devils Resort Club, Dixie Dawn will take the stage. Dixie Dawn is local to North Carolina and plays classic country, gospel, bluegrass, and 50’s rock and roll. With their diverse musical show filled with medleys, comedy, great playing and singing, they put on a show which continues to have a following of loyal fans from all over the South.
The Kruger Brothers will then take the stage. Born and raised in Europe, brothers Jens and Uwe Kruger started singing and playing instruments at a very young age. Growing up in a family where music was an important part of life, they were exposed to a wide diversity of abiding musical influences. The brothers were performing regularly by the time they were 11 and 12 years old, and they began their professional career in 1979. Joel Landsberg, a native of New York City who also had a very ex¬tensive musical upbringing, joined the brothers in the early 90s. Together, the Kruger Brothers established the incomparable sound that the trio is known for today, a blend of classically-infused Americana that is both fresh and virtuosic, pleasing a wide-range of audiences worldwide.
This concert is being held to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Seven Devils. The concert will run from 4pm to 8pm, rain or shine. This is an outside event, so please bring your own chairs and/ or blankets for seating.
