This is an important message from the Town of Seven Devils Water Department: According to Gov. Cooper's Executive Order #124 (which can be viewed on the red ALERTS button below), Local Governments are prohibited from disconnecting residential water services for non-payment, starting on March 31, 2020, and ending on May 31, 2020. Also, included in this Executive Order, no late fees or penalties are to be charged, and if customers are having difficulties paying their water bill, a payment plan for six months can be an option, on a case-by-case basis. As the cases of COVID-19 continue to rise, please comply with the SHELTER IN PLACE order, and be safe - Thank you!
May 20, 2020 - Governor Cooper has signed Executive Order 141 to further ease restrictions, starting with Phase 2 in NC. Effective May 22nd at 5pm, the State will enter a "SAFER AT HOME" recommendation, restaurants will operate at 50%, Short Term Rentals are allowed at 50%, and Personal Care businesses may operate at 50% Mass gatherings are limited to 10 people indoors, and 25 people outdoors.
